These are images from a styling job we did for Kamille magazine No. 08/2008 this spring. The challenge was that we would find old things from for example Fretex and transform them. The budget was a maximum of 1,000 NOK. The chair we found on a used furniture shop at Carl Berners plass in Oslo. It was transformed with a white cotton fabric and got a new edge ribbon. The beautiful light shade, we found the at same shop and applied birch stems for legs. Apple boxes and letters were painted purple. Old wine bottles and water bottles were painted with bengalakk, here used as vases, but also make beautiful candleholders. The dance statue, the little statue and the tea pot is also painted in white bengalakk. The photographer is Trine Thorsen and the photos are taken in her studio.
